Military Bootcamp - The Real Thing
Sergeant Wesley Wood, An 8 year veteran of the Australian army, he served seven months on the front lines in Iraq. A sergeant, he received a Distinguished Service Medal for his courage and leadership in action in Iraq, action which included covert helicopter missions, vehicle mounted patrols and fire fights with the enemy. So, Sergeant Wood has "been there" and "done that" in his military career. Now he is "here" and is "doing this" namely preparing to lead a new hardcore military training camp. It will be as close as possible to the basic training experience that recruits go through when they enter the military. We are offering a program taking advantage of Wesley's army training. The program will include a military-like obstacle course and army-like group drills, beginning this June. However, the boot camp is aimed at participants of all levels, from the average Joe to those in the police and military.
The Introductory session will run from June 15th to July 3rd at 0600
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The workout includes brisk walking, interval jogging (optional), lower body strength exercises and upper body toning with Therabands. Every class will end with core focus and stretching.

Athletes (15 - 18 years old)
Are you looking to get stronger for your sport? Are you looking to get faster?
For 7 weeks in July and August our Summer Strength & Conditioning Camps (run by Derek Shore, a former strength & conditioning coach with the Philadelphia Phillies baseball organization and full-time teacher) will be providing intensive small group instruction for serious athletes at the high school and club level. While your opponents are busy wasting away their summer, you'll be getting ahead.

Arden's Summer Programs
1. Astral Athlete Program
This program is for athletes ages 15 and up who have the dedication to train on their own, but need help designing a program to get the most out of their training. The purpose of the program is to provide guidance to the athlete for a minimal cost. Each athlete will decide what they want to train for and the number of days a week they are willing to commit. They will be given access to a written program every week tailored to their sport and goals. Although the athletes will be expected to work predominantly on their own, a trainer familiar with the program will be present during program hours to supervise and answer questions. Program will start July 6th and end August 28th. This is by far the most cost effective way to train this summer, program fees begin as low as $50 a week. Nutritional consultation is included. Program hours are tentatively set from 3pm until 6pm, but are subject to change.
2. Hockey Dry Land Training
Junior ages 13-15 / Senior ages 16-18
This program is designed to get hockey players bigger, stronger, and faster for next season. This is an 8 week intensive training program. Athletes will work in groups of 4 with a trainer specialized in sport specific training. Session will begin July 6th and run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until August 28th. Times slots are available at 10:30, 12:00, and 1:30 and are filled on a first come first served basis. Program includes testing to track progress and nutritional consultation. Program cost is $600 for the 8 weeks. Pro rates are available for those unable to attend all 8 weeks.
3. Evening Small Group Training
This program is designed for women of all ages and training levels who wish to get in better shape this summer. Members will work in groups of 4 under the supervision of a trainer. Classes will Begin July 13th and end September 4th. Classes will run from 6:30pm until 8:00pm Monday and Friday nights. Cost is $30 a session and pro rates are available for those who cannot commit to the entire 8 weeks. Classes will include strength training, spinning, and yoga. Nutritional consultation is included. Space is limited!
