Hip Hop for Kids

This is a brand new program at Astral. The focus of this class is to introduce the student to Hip Hop fundamentals while developing a fun work ethic towards dance.  The student will be working on internalizing proper body movemnt to music but also allowing them to keep their own style that comes naturally to them.  This will help develop rhythm, coordination and motor skills.  This class is also to help kids learn to work with other kids and have fun doing it!

Classes run Tuesdays 4pm - 5pm

Body Bootcamp  

 

Now in its’ Fourth successful session...Body Boot Camp will help you meet YOUR goals! Want to lose weight? Get stronger? Break through a training plateau? Re-contour your body? The key to Body Boot Camp is that it’s a small group where you get individual attention, your goals and safety are my concern. Whether you’re beginner or advanced, you WILL be challenged!  Evening Small Group Training

This program is designed for women of all ages and training levels who wish to get in better shape. Members will work in groups of 4 under the supervision of a trainer.  Cost is $30 a session and pro rates are available for those who cannot commit to the entire program. Classes will include strength training, spinning, and yoga. Nutritional consultation is included. Space is limited!  It’s a full body metabolic workout!!

Each class is different and challenging and we train you in a wide variety of training including:
  
Muscular Strength and Endurance
Circuit Training – Resistance, Cardio, Plyometrics
Resistance Training – use of gym dumbbells, bars, benches and machines
 
Cardiovascular System
Boxing Circuit Training – Focus mitts, Heavy bag, Cardio!!!
Car park and Hill runs
 
Core Stability
Abdominal Core Strength
Agility and Balance – Use of Bosu ball, Swiss ball and Agility markers
