On Saturday, February 27th 2010 Astral hosted a fundraiser for the Faucher Douglas Family
Rene Faucher, Dianne Douglas and their 3 young children were regulars at Astral Fitness until Rene was paralyzed while playing hockey. Rene was in between jobs at the time of the accident which left his family with no long term disability benefits. Astral Fitness helped to raise money for the Faucher Douglas Family Trust by offering a day full of classes. We accepted donations for the participation in these classes. Members and non-members came out and we raised $2000!!!!

Astral is actively involved in the communities we serve and committed to supporting charities that address the importance of health, physical activity and family values. We are members of the Kanata Chamber of Commerce and Lions Gateway Club as well as a Community Partner with the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.
